CUSTOMER WIN: New South Wales Department of

SYDNEY (January 27, 2008) – The New South Wales (NSW)

Department of Education and Training has significantly expanded its

implementation of BMC Software’s (NYSE: BMC) Remedy IT Service

Management Suite (ITSM).

A current user of the BMC Remedy Service Desk and Change

Management solutions, the department recently also selected BMC

Remedy Asset Management, a key part of the ITSM solution portfolio.

The NSW Department of Education and Training delivers high quality,

internationally competitive public education and training from early

childhood to the award of the NSW Higher School Certificate. It also

provides TAFE NSW courses, adult and community education courses,

migrant English programs, post-secondary art courses and advice to the

NSW Government on higher education. The department maintains

one of the largest service support environments in the southern

hemisphere.
