Numara Software Appoints Matt Dircks as Vice President of Product Strategy

Company Also Promotes David Giles to Vice President of Customer Advocacy

Numara Software, Inc., a leader in service desk management solutions for IT professionals, today announced the appointment of Matt Dircks as vice president of product strategy. Dircks brings 20 years of software industry experience in product strategy, product marketing, engineering, and corporate development. He has held executive and product management positions with industry leading software vendors including Citrix Systems, NetIQ, and Quest Software, where he most recently served as General Manager of the Server Virtualization Business.

Prior to Quest, Dircks served as the president of Full Armor Corporation where he helped transform the company from a single-product business into a highly-scalable multi-product, multi-channel corporation. Also, as the senior vice president of products for NetIQ Software, Dircks successfully guided the development and delivery of a comprehensive product strategy resulting in recognition by IDC as a market share leader in security management, and recognition by the Gartner Group as a quadrant leader in security management.
